Have Multiple Shops Without "shop" Subfolders?

I have multiple domains, specifically:
janaygreen.com
latinogreetingcards.com

Right now, my shop for janaygreen.com is in the root directory.

To organize, I want to have my shop for janaygreen.com in a folder called "janaygreen".
I want to have latinogreetingcards.com in a folder called "latinogreetingcards".

How can I put my shops in the folders above without the home url being:
"janaygreen.com/janaygreen" and "latinogreetingcards.com/latinogreetingcards"?

I want the home urls to be:
"janaygreen.com" and "latinogreetingcards.com"

I greatly appreciate any help in this matter.

You could redirect them, I guess, but I don't understand why you just don't put both stores in the root of their respective domains.

I don't know how to do that. My domains share an IP address. Does that pose a problem?

Very simple. If you are already able to access those domains separately, there must already be folders set up for them on your hosting. You just need to install Zen Cart in the folder set up for latinogreetingcards.com since you already have Zen Cart installed in the root for janaygreen.com.

I had it set up like that, but then for some reason, latinogreetingcards.com was being redirected to janaygreen.com/latinogreetingcards.com.

If I put janaygreen.com and latinogreetingcards.com in folders "janaygreen" and "latinogreetings" respectively, will those folders be considered the directory root?

My host doesn't offer multiple domains on one account, so I don't know what you're seeing. When you go to the site with your FTP client or control panel file manager, do you have two different 'home' folders, or two different 'public_html' folders?

You might also check with your host as to how to set this up.
