Want to offer free shipping for orders over $ except for Express

I currently charge shipping based on the number of items purchased with free shipping for orders over $100. I also want to offer express shipping for $20 for any order size. I set up flat shipping option and renamed it express shipping. All is good there. I want to set it up so customers can still choose the $20 express shipping instead of the free (slower) shipping even if their order is over $100 if they want. Is there any way to do this?? Currently it just goes to free shipping if the total is over $100. Thanks in advance for any help.

Turn off the Free Shipping in the Modules ... Order Totals ... Shipping ot_shipping ...

Turn on the Modules ... Shipping ... Free Shipping Options freeoptions shipping module and set to Total >= 100.00 ...

Now the Free Shipping over $100 will show with your other shipping methods ...

NOTE: If that Flat Rate flat shipping module for the Express is only to show for orders over $100.00 ... then you will need to customize the module further ...

The flat rate (express) shipping is available for any order total, I just wanted it to be an option that showed for orders that could choose free shipping instead, which it wasn't before but is now.
The only Minor issue now is that on checkout now it show the 3 options for orders over $100. Priority (our standard), Express, or Free, which the free shipping option is actually still priority. But I can continue fiddling around customizing it further or just change the description of the free shipping to priority also and the customers will know to choose the free option instead of paying for the same service.

The shipping modules are controlled by the $this->enabled ... when true, it shows ... when false it doesn't ...

You could customize your Priority to not show when the order is over $100 by controlling the $this->enabled ...

Hi- I'm in the same situation and want to specify on the free shipping that it is actually the same USPS Priority Mail which is also listed as an option. I have my shipping set up as above, but could you tell me which file I need to edit to find the $this you refer to?

If you are using USPS then you could just intercept the cost on the Express and change to 0.00 when the order is over $100 ... then you could still allow the other shipping methods at the same time ...
