Taxable item EXCEPT when ordering with another...?
Hi all:
Another odd tax situation... maybe you have an idea?
Client sells solar panels and accessories. In BC. solar panels are tax-exempt and accessories are tax-exempt ONLY IF purchased with solar panels.
So, customer buys wires, controller and inverter, and pays sales tax. But if customer buys wires, controller, inverter AND solar panel, ENTIRE order is tax-exempt.
To make matters even more confusing, batteries are always taxable.
Is there a way in ZC to change an item's tax status if other items are purchased with it?
