Point 'Continue Shopping' button to fixed/static link?

Hi guys

I'm modding my cart to fit within an existing website, but there are a handful of small tweaks I need to get past in order to have it perfect for my needs...

One of these is the 'Continue Shopping' button, which actively takes the user back to the last page they were looking at.

I'd like to permanently link this button back to my storefront URL. We only have three categories of products, each clearly defined, so it makes the most sense for us to send the customer back to the front if they wish to continue shopping.

I ran a developer search on the button image name, and it popped up in a couple of files, but I'm unsure of what to change/insert to redirect this action to the static homepage link.

Ideas?

You really need to re-think this strategy. As a customer - I placed a blue widget in my cart and now I want to add the same widget in red. With the current system I can click the Continue shopping and go back to the product I was on and order the red one, with yours I would have to figure out how to get back to the widgets and then order the red one ...

Well, the way I've set it up, with our three main categories, the index page has each category listed in a column, with each product in that category listed underneath.

So, technically speaking, all of our products are accessible in one step from the index.

And we have an interactive product comparison table on our index page, which is our reasoning behind making it a fixed link back to the index. The customer would continue shopping, be sent back to the index where they can use the comparison chart or product listing and navigate from there.

Is it even possible to turn it into a fixed link?
