display all products and price only for registered users?

How can I set the fact that also the products and images and prices can be visible only for registered users?
I would to insert a sort of start page in which I describe the firm, and only for the registered users I would to display products, images and prices.

In this way the user don't see categories, and ok
but I want also that the user not registered don't see products and relative images.

I would a page about presentation, and stop, the web surfer have to see only that page.

Then if I authorize someone that register, then he can see all products with prices and images like a classic store.

I am starting a wholesaler store so like in many wholesaler stores, I would a start page with all informations.
Then only for registered users it will be full access.
So I am not interested in spiders, just for the start page, but not for all products.

Configuration ... Customer Details ...

Customer Shop Status - View Shop and Prices
Customer must be approved to shop
0= Not required
1= Must login to browse
2= May browse but no prices unless logged in
3= Showroom Only

It is recommended that Option 2 be used for the purposes of Spiders if you wish customers to login to see prices.

NOTE: keep in mind, spiders do not see your site either with this setting ...

Is there a way that I can set my site to show all information, prices etc, but the customer MUST register BEFORE they can add products to the cart and purchase?

My problem is that all of my customers are companies, and I use Google check out, so if a customer uses their personal credit card, I get the wrong shipping details and no company name.

Currently, the choices are:

Customer Shop Status - View Shop and Prices
Customer must be approved to shop
0= Not required
1= Must login to browse
2= May browse but no prices unless logged in
3= Showroom Only

What you want is a bit different in that the Product Prices should show ...

This could be done with some customization to the code as the price display and the buttons are separate functions ...

Commenting out the return in the functions_price.php

Then change the language for: Login for Price

to something like: Login to Buy

Don't think I've ever seen this before. I'd like to be able to give my newsletter subscribers advance viewing of new items before they are viewable to the public. I was thinking I'd give them an access code to get in to the Preview Category.

I know there is a way to make the entire shop to require registration or not, is there a way to configure the same for one category only?
