How to change a template?

I tried changing my template and I think I really messed up my page. Could some one show me the correct way to change my templete because everytime I go into admin/tools/template selection in zen cart I get this error. Help please. I am a newbie.:smile:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_LNUMBER
