font size issues with prices

Hello
When I display my product listing as a row by row listing, the price shows up nice and big. But after installing column layout grid module and have it displayed 3 items across, see this link:
http://pp.doesntexist.com/rubber-rollers-for-heidelberg-c-36_52.html?page=2&sort=20a
Now the pice is very small and hard to see...
Does anyone know where to adjust the size of the price font.
I've tried adjusting the stylesheet.css file but it doesn't seem to change the size....
Any help is appreciated....

Also if anyone can help me center the product name that would be great too!!! :blush:

Re: font size issues with prices

Well the quick and easy way of dealing with this is to add this to the bottom of the stylesheet:

.centerBoxContentsProducts{font-size:12px;}

It changes the font size of quite a bit of the text in that element. If you want to separate out the various bits of text then you will need to edit some php file.

Let us know how you get on....

Re: font size issues with prices

For the centering you need to edit stylesheet_main.css

Find

h3.itemTitle{text-align:left;}

change to:

h3.itemTitle{text-align:center;}

Re: font size issues with prices

If you do want to edit the various bits of text separately you will need to find product_listing.php and add some extra <span> tags around the various bits of text and add classes to these spans so that you can style them individually.

Re: font size issues with prices

yes, you need to edit a file:

includes/modules/yourtemplate/product_listing.php

It is kind of fun finding your way around this file to begin with:smile: Your version of it is likely different to mine or the default because you are using a column type layout. If you need more help then you will need to post your version of this file as an attachment (you need to zip it first )

Re: font size issues with prices

Well, to be honest, if you get there, I think the line space is going to be a breeze.

What product listing does is build the contents of the product boxes as an array. The array is $list_box_contents. The bit of the array that you are interested in is $lc_text.

product_listing is a big loop and on each time through the loop it adds another thing (if appropriate) to the variable. So, at the end of the looping the variable has all the code for the title, the image, the price etc.

That is all product listing does. The array is then used in another file which outputs all this code to the page.

That's a bit simplistic but basically it. Sorry, if it seems confusing but have a look at the code and see if you can make head or tail of it.

If not then post your file. I just don't want to make too many suggestions before seeing what you are actually starting with because that is potentially more confusing.
