Image Handler 2 - thinking outside the box

I'm posting this outside the IH2 support thread because I'm using IH2 in a way it was not originally intended. But I'm hoping to get some help even so!

I have some photos at the top of each sub-category, that are not attached to a product. They also are not the photo attached to the category. These are multiple photos of things that show the product in use. These photos have a big impact on my sales, so they are critical to me. But they were taking up a lot of space. I want to shrink them, but pop up enlargements when someone hovers over them.

I have this almost working using IH2. The only remaining issue I have is that the photos on the right result in a pop up partially off the screen. And I don't know how to correct this. Can anyone help?
