Set Price in Category

I created a new category in my store called $2.00 Tuesdays, and I want to make it so when any products are put into the $2.00 Tuesday category, they automatically get marked down to $2.00 instead of having to apply a special for a date range or manually change the price. Is there a way to do this?

If you were able to use this Tuesday Specials category as the master_categories_id for all of these Products then you could Sale Maker for the $2.00 price ...

However, after the Tuesday Special is over, you would need to then change the master_categories_id back to what it should be and this probably would be more work than adding the Special to the Product and Linking the Product to the Tuesday Specials category ...

The products change each week. We go to the category links manager to put them in and take them out of the category. I just wanted to make it a step easier by not having to change the price and have it change automatically when we put it in that cateogry.

Does your site use Linked Products?

Changing the Master Categories Id is one method, but it still requires some sort of change ...

Which is harder, setting the products back to their Original Master Category and removing them from the Tuesday Special or just adding the Special?
