Partial refund not changing order total?

Partial refund not changing order total?

I have done several partial refunds for customers.. some used
paypal and some used a CC through paypal WPP.
The refunds go through fine for the customers and a note shows
up in the order indicating it was partially refunded but the
amount refunded is not subtracted from the order total.

I am concerned when we download the transactions into
our financial software we arent going to have accurate transaction
values.

Shouldnt partial refund alter the order total?

That's not built-in to the software at this time.

hmm any suggestions on where in the code I can start
looking to add this?

Where are partial refunds handled? Is it just a matter of
taking the partial amount and updating an order total
field in a DB somewhere?
