IE7 : space between images, IE8: double border fieldset, FF3 all good

Hi All,

don't we all hate Internet Explorer....
See if you can help me with these 2 issues by accessing my store : viaterra.net/store

NB : I use IE 8 and switch to "compatibility view" to simulate IE7.

  • IE 7 : bottom of the homepage, the "follow us" images are spaced out. In IE 8 and FF3, no such problem

  • IE 8 : go to the login page, look at the fieldset "returning customers", it has a double bottom border. In IE 7 and FF3, no such problem

  • Chrome, Safari and Opera : none of these problems

Thanks in advance for any help.
Denis

Re: IE7 : space between images, IE8: double border fieldset, FF3 all good

I think the first is this:

** #navSupp ul li a {

text-decoration: none;
padding: 1.5em 1.5em;
margin: 0;
color: #fffffff;
font-size: 1.8em;
white-space: nowrap;

}**

The double border is a very strange problem, and I can't find anywhere it might be coming from.

Re: IE7 : space between images, IE8: double border fieldset, FF3 all good

Thanks a million stevesh,

I have modified the CSS #NavSupp to :

padding: 1.5em 0em;

and the images now appear without spaces in IE7.

I had a quick check and it seems the change does not appear to have messed up anything else.

thanks again.
