Information Pages have been reset after security patches

Help, running version 1.3.7.1, about a week ago I applied the security patches and renamed my admin folder. Today I went on with the intention of updating some of the pages information and more information; all had been reset. When I try to re-input the information using "define pages editor", they don't take. Help! Do I need to change "admin" to its new name in some file that I am not aware of?

Make sure when you apply new patches.. or updates.. if the UPDATE say has the ADMIN - change that folder to your new admin name.. or just copy all the stuff in the admin folder to your new admin folder on your ftp...

I had done that, now my main page has been reset
