How can I add more then 1 Sidebox for Products?

my client has agreed to use Zen Cart for his next site and was requesting me to add additional boxes for

Shop by Brand
Shop by Age
Shop by Price

below Categories Sidebox

thats 3 additional category sideboxes

How do I add those extra categories with their own sidebox?

How do I add the same product in one category and also have it listed under AGE, Price, and Brand?

Appreciate anyone who could help me solve this request.

Creating new sideboxes is very possible. Have a look at http://www.zen-cart.com/index.php?main_page=product_contrib_info&products_id=174 and search the forum for more information.

Shop By Brand is actually (possibly) what the Manufacturers sidebox does. If you make your manufacturers as brands. So, look at the files for this sidebox and see how they work.

The shop by price is effectively a search so you just need to link to various 'bracketed' price searches from a new sidebox. I am actually pretty sure that someone will have done this before so there may be a forum thread or even a mod.

I am not sure how you are setting up the age range. If it is an attribute then, I believe, the advanced search will not work for it. (but I could be wrong here) So, you may want to set up an extra field in database for each product. Look at http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=120523&highlight=add+product+field. And then you could 'clone' the manufacturers sidebox to work with this new field.
