Sideboxes won't show up

Hi there,

as I said sideboxes wont show up after installing new theme.. When I change theme to classic then sideboxes shows again..
Can anyone help me please?

That's a Template Monster template. As you get the sideboxes when you switch to classic, it sounds as though your Zen Cart is working fine and the problem is in the template. But support for the template would need to come from Template Monster.

I know its Template monster but that's third intstall of this theme and now it's first time that don't work right..
So i think there must some other problem. I hope so :smile:

things i would look at first if they worked before...

did you use an ftp program or a wyswig editor to upload the files? - if a wysywig, then try an ftp program like filezilla. i thought this was crap until i saw for myself how often they only partially upload files when doing bulk updates. is the version of the template different from the ones that worked? is the host/folder location different to when it last worked? - could be incorrectly set template/filename variables.

In that case, I'd reload it in case some of the files didn't arrive safely.

If you see the sideboxes when you switch to classic the problem is local to your template files, so uploading everything is a waste of time and won't help you to locate and understand the problem.

Hi Spiritus. I am having the same problem. If you figured it out then let me know please. I will post here as soon as I fix this problem.

After you selected the new template in admin, did you then go to Admin - Tools - Layout Boxes Controller and click the Reset button?

I hit the reset button and it works for me as I had the same problem.

Need more help though but I will post in the appropriate rooms.:blush:
