Layout Boxes are not being added!!!

Hello. guys I need some help here.

I was about to add layout boxes in my store by using layout boxes controller in Admin/Tool. I turned on "Best-Seller" box in the controller, but it didn't appear in the store. I tried with some other boxes. Some were OK, some were not appearing even though they were turned on from admin. What I think might happen is that while I was installing some add-ons and modules, the layout boxes were somehow messed up. I'm currently using Zen Cart™ Version v1.3.8, and add-ons & modules i installed are listed below:

1. quantitytime_report_1-1a
2. stock_quantity_report_1-1
3. orders_exporter_1-0
4. monthly_sales_and_tax_summary_report_1-3
5. graphical_sales_report_v1-02

What should I do? and if the installation is not the root problem, what would it be?

the problem is, whatever change I make from the admin, it's not being displayed from the site

None of those mods should affect the sideboxes.

My guess is you tried to turn on sideboxes which don't appear until there is content for them. Bestsellers won't show up until you have some sales, and Manufacturers won't show up if you haven't installed any, even if you enable it in the controller.

If that isn't it, let us know.

I think you are right. I tried with some ot the layout boxes and it worked.
