Invoice question - can I email them ?

I'm not sure that I have the hang of invoices module ! Sure, I can obtain the invoice information on screen by using 'Customers', 'Orders' then clicking on Invoice. Fair enough. HOWEVER, then what ? It seems to me that this is only part of the process but I'm darned if I can find out 'what else'. Surely there is more to it than having to press 'file' and 'print' !

What I want to do is to automatically generate the invoice as part of the customers ordering process. Either being able to print, or email the invoice details directly to my accounts people without having to do it manually as described above.

Anyone got any ideas please ?

You get an order confirmation email sent to you when an order is placed, right?
Why not either set your email program to auto-forward those emails to whomever else needs to know about it? Or add additional email addresses in Zen Cart so it knows whom else to send them to.
