Poducts being indexed differently within site

Hi,

I have a slight problem that has been bothering me for a while.

If you look at this page http://www.orcharddirect.co.uk/shop/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=174

The products are in the order that i sorted them. However when going inside the first product http://www.orcharddirect.co.uk/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=26_174&products_id=509 its aparantly product 5/6.

How do i go about sorting this?

Is there no way to update the sort orders accross the site?

My test sites sort the listing properly, so it's something in your site. In Admin - Configuration - Product Listing, there is a setting for Display Product Listing Default Sort Order, but I can't see exactly what it does. There's also a sort order function in Product Info.

Thanks for your reply. Still have no luck. The trouble im having is i cant rememeber when this broke so i have no idea what i need to do to rectify it!

So im guessing no one else has had this problem?

As stevesh indicated, there are various Sort Order settings for the different pages ...

It looks like you do not have the Sort Order for the product _info set correctly ... or something in your code for your template is not utilizing the feature ...

The setting is in the Configuration ... Product Info ...

Previous Next - Sort Order
Products Display Order by
0= Product ID
1= Product Name
2= Model
3= Price, Product Name
4= Price, Model
5= Product Name, Model
6= Product Sort Order

What setting are you using?
