Use Photos as Attribute Selector

Hi,

I am going to start selling Refurbished DS Lites where the customer can pick the casing.

There will be about 40 choices and am not sure whats the best way of doing this. I was thinking, have pictures of all 40 cases & then the buyer clicks it to select the case, is this possible? How would I go about doing it?

Re: Use Photos as Attribute Selector

OK.

I have worked out how to do it. Really was not that difficult. However I have to upload the image myself it doesn't let me type in the already uploaded image path.

Is there any way to just type in the path i.e attributes/ds/1.png

as it would speed up the proccess so much.

Re: Use Photos as Attribute Selector

Progress well sort of!

OK. I had got LightBox working with the Images but then I change the layout using the options to put the checkbox underneath the image. Now if you click the image the checkbox is clicked. Is there any way to get the image to zoom in aswell?

Also, the images are all overlapping. How do I specify padding etc.

Re: Use Photos as Attribute Selector

add

.attribImg {
padding: 20px;
}

to stylesheet.css

(or some other number of pixels)

Prolly best to do the override thing starting with includes/templates/template_default/css/stylesheet.css

The easy way to play with the css is with Firefox and the Web Developer Add-on

Thanks for posting your questions, it helped me figure out how to do this.
