Drop shadow for entire page

Hey everyone, I am finishing up a site and I just realized that the page drop-shadow that I have been saving for the end seems to be a lot harder than I had anticipated. Here is what I need the site to look like:

http://www.stonebreak.co.uk/dev/GPH_web/index.html
(please ignore the choppy corners)

and this is the soon to be live site:
http://www.getpurehealth.com/index.php

I am really having difficulty figuring out a way to add just one wrapper that will affect all of the pages the same, regardless of where they go on the site. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks,

JW

Re: Drop shadow for entire page

in the includes/templates/YOUR_CUSTOM_TEMPLATE/common/tpl_main_page.php

about line 64 add a new wrapper opening div right before the mainWrapper div.
about line 167 is the closing div for the mainWrapper, move it up so its above the footer code (about line 155) and add the closing div tag for your new wrapper right after it.

Re: Drop shadow for entire page

Use firefox firebug to examine the page here:

http://www.linuxpuppy.net/qty1/

This shows how to add three divs, one for center (so page can grow and shrink) and one to handle the top, and one for the bottom. The effect is done with three images.

(the side boxes are done simmilar, but with no extra divs)

Note: if you read this post much after the post date, the example will probably be gone.

Re: Drop shadow for entire page

Cool, thanks I really appreciate it. I actually ended up splitting the shadow div between the header and the main page so I could skip the top links, and it worked perfectly.
