Specials not appearing in sideboxes or main page

Hi guru's,

I have an odd problem, I have recently noticed my specials aren't appearing.

http://newwave.co.nz/shopping

When I go to main_page=specials I get a 404 :(

I tried to run the debug tool from the free add ons but it wouldn't work for me (I changed the permissions of the cache folder to writable but still no file appeared).

I'm stuck and doing small circles trying to figure this one out.

What have I done?

OK. I reinstalled and restored from backups and all is sweet in zen town...

Any idea what might have been different on the backup from what was broken?
