Changing text of order-confirmation email

I'm a zen cart newby and cannot find info on how to edit the contents of the order confirmation email anywhere. I don't need to do what you were trying to do, but assume there are some basic options to choose from. Can you please send me in the right direction. Much appreciated.

I have tried searching for text from the current order confirmation email, but it is not showing up in anything.

I really need to figure this out. I'm not sure if the problem was caused by the site being transferred and missing a file or by the installation of FEC (fast and easy checkout) module. I'm guessing the latter. Either way I can't find the file to modify. Any help is appreciated.

The following is an example of what is coming now in the order confirmation emails (I xxd the #s), and below that what it used to be (that I want back):

Subject: Bankcard Order Confirmation

Dear Kathryn Wingard, This is a confirmation of an online transaction placed with The Mythic Yoga Studio. The Sale transaction totaled $9.95 and will be processed to your account. Order Number : ID8XXXXXXX Approval Code : 079XXX

I'm guessing that the first email you quoted is actually coming from the payment gateway, and not from your store. And your store should be sending its own email, in the format you mentioned, when the payment gateway successfully returns the customer to your store.

Yes, I think you are right. The problem is that the order confirmation email isn't coming (it is set up to cc to the store owner).
It may have been the addition of the Fast and Easy Checkout Module, right after the transfer that is causing this problem. I really don't know what to do about it though.

I really don't know what to do about it though.Well, some basic troubleshooting to narrow down where the problem really is, when exactly it happens, to whom it happens, etc, would be the first logical thing to do.

Like: what happens when you do a transaction yourself? After the payment details are collected and you go to the confirmation page and submit the order, what happens next? It should bring you to a "success" page after it sends out the email from the store.

And, what happens differently if you turn off the FEC addon and do another transaction? Does the email come through then?

And what payment modules do you have enabled? Which ones are giving you problems?
