product display on home page?

i would like to achieve the following display for the products on the main page.

can anyone tell me which is the file to edit the product?

I think you should install firefox's firebug and locate what should be changes. Since the language of product info display is dispered into different files. after you locate it, open your NOTEPAD++ and change the files correspondingly.
If you wanna change to three colums per row, you can do that in admin>configuration>Index Listing.
If u wanna change the maximum display in a page, say man page, so that in admin>configuratoin>Index listing
