Not a Zen user yet - couple questions: How user friendly? UPS & Paypal etc

Hi all,

I have not used Zen yet. But am looking for a 3rd part cart to use with my site that currently has about 50 products of different prices etc.

So I need one that will work with UPS and USPS shipping tables and that works with paypal standard.

Sorry if for some reason that information is in here somewhere but I have not found it yet.

Just from what I have read, Zen doesn't sound all that user friendly?? and looks like lots of steps to get it going? I mean there are tons of posts from people having issues ??????

Other Questions:

• Can I use it with Paypal Standard? and UPS, USPS shipping tables?

Yes, Zen Cart can obtain real-time quotes from UPS, and from USPS, using the product weight and origin+destination zip codes.
Zen Cart has a built-in PayPal Website Payments Standard module.

The posts you've read are only from the tiny number of people who have had problems for one reason or another.

If you don't mind putting some time and effort into using the software, following instructions and FAQ articles, maybe learning a few things you've never thought or heard of before, and working with how the software is designed to work then you should have no problem!

However, if you expect that the software will read your mind and just do what you're picturing in your head and have a live store making millions in less than 15 minutes ... well ... then you'll be disappointed.
