Adding User Source to the printed order

I'm looking for a way for ZenCart to print on the order page after a user places an order of where they came from.

So if a user came to our zencart site from xyz.com, is there a way for the system to track that and print it on the order form after the order is placed?

We pay for a few google, yahoo and microsoft ad words and I'd like to know which specific orders came from those ad clicks if possible.

I am using ZenCart 1.3.8a

Thank you very much

J

Re: Adding User Source to the printed order

We have had Google Analytics installed and in use for a few years now. (and the information is GREAT!) It is unable to give me the additional information I am looking for (at least I haven't found a way to find it in Google Analytics).

Google Analytics tells me traffic to my check out pages, but from what I can tell it will not tell me "what" the customer purchased.

I'd like to know on the purchasing order, where the customer came from.

We get a lot of people that will put in the source field that they found us on the "web".... and well frankly, I'd like to know google, yahoo or Microsoft or from another one of our distributor websites.

Thanks
J

Re: Adding User Source to the printed order

In your ecommerce overview, you see what was purchased.... Keep drilling down...

Then you get sku, campaign, keyword, ad content, landing page, language, location, browser, operating system, connection speed.
