removing "extras" tab in admin

removing "extras" tab in admin

hey all, i thought i had this removed before i was 'hacked' (i have followed all the recommended procedures, and as far as i can tell, i am 'back to normal')

however, i have 'extras' tab turned on in my admin now, which i thought i had disabled at some point... but i cant find directions now on how to do this?

any suggestions?

I wish someone knew if there was a way.... all there is in that section is stuff about music .. .and, I'm not even selling anything that has to do with music.... a tad annoying ... :huh:

If you want the admin "Extras" menu option to not show, go to /admin/includes/boxes/extra_boxes/, and rename or delete product_music_extras_dhtml.php .
If renaming, simply change the ".php" extension to something like ".disabled".
If there are other files in that folder named like "*******_extras_dhtml.php" then those will cause the "Extras" menu to appear as well, containing whatever menu entries are listed inside them.
