I Think I'm Telling Google To Ignore Me?

Hi All,

I submitted a sitemap to Google and its be quite some time, now Im investigating and I came across this looking at view source from the web developer firefox addon:

Now I have not added this in here, and when looking at my meta_tags.php I had some code which told robots to ignore certain pages, I've since removed this but the code is still there?

How can I change it and also, why would it be set to this as I have not added this code anywhere!

I have found it in a few locations via the web developer toolkit, but I just want to understand if I delete it, and why it is there?

I might be being a dumbass here (which is not unusual) - I have bug fixed the 3 below posts and none of them have solved it and I cant see anything else that relates?

Didn't quite go far enough

Re: Known Bugs with v1.3.8
Symptom:
There's a bug in v1.3.8 which only shows when you have
Admin->Configuration->Layout Settings->Categories - Always Show on Main Page = 1

Solution:
To fix it, edit your /includes/init_includes/init_add_crumbs.php file, by adding the indicated code, as shown in the highlighted area:

This is quite the concern now. I have added the code as advised in the fix and its made no difference.

Added to this - my site should not be affected as in the admin my settings are and always have been:

Categories - Always Show on Main Page = 0

I'm bamboozled to be honest!

Hi Guys, have added the bug fix' but Im still not being indexed, this is a really serious issue for me. Ive listed all the areas where the noindex/nofollow occurs on my site - can I manually change these to something?

Im at this point beyond my technical level and there doesnt seem to be any information on how to fix this out there that works for me...

Please check your bug fix that you inserted the entire supplied code. The pages you listed are supposed to have the noindex, nofollow... the issue is the bug causing it on your main page.

Check the template thread also, as I remember some reporting that the template author changed the html_header.php causing this as well.
