Changing Required Fields for New Customer Sign-Up

Hi,

I would like to make the address fields NON-required for new customer sign-ups since I only have a download store, and I'm afraid people might get nervous about providing all that unnecessary info... Is there some way I can do this?

You can turn off some of the details on the registration page by going to admin>configuration>customers details.

Otherwise, I think you have to go into your YOUR TEMPLATE/english.php and find the * for the required line you do not want to be required and delete it.
