No hover in Information & EZPages boxes

I'm brand new to this forum, just started using Zen Cart a couple of days ago and have been blundering away. I'm finally getting somewhere but noticed that my links in the (Important Links) EZPages box and Information Box in the left column don't show hovers. I'm not a coder and only partially functional in CSS, so I've been really challenged with this learning curve! I found an old thread about this issue but the answer was no longer pertinent.

I downloaded the free Alternative Header 1.1a 2 and played around with it until it did what I wanted. I deleted most of the style sheet that came with it, just kept what applied to the header so my custom style sheet should rule.

Add to the stylesheet:

for the Information box.

Two tips - get the Web Developer plugin for Firefox. It will allow you to see where the css is applied. Also, Zencart loads all stylesheets with the css extension that are in the css folder of the current template, so if you add statements to
stylesheet_rosie that also exist in stylesheet_two, you may have a conflict.

Thanks I'll do that. By the way, I just messed up my top navigation box as well (yellow background), the "hover" went away. Why is this doing that? I followed another thread to edit the CSS (remove underline and add hover color) and it made the hover go away.

Parrots: This web site is for my sister in law, I have a couple of African Greys myself that got her interested in parrots!
