Where is "includes/...."? Template Q too

Hi Everyone:smile: First, let me begin by saying that I have never used a shopping cart before other than the one that came with my hosting company (which BTW I don't like). I'm new to e-commerce so please be very elementary in your answers. I'm certainly not dumb but I have very little HTML knowledge. I'm using the new version of Zen Cart. Just downloaded it from Fantastico. I want to use the Apple Zen template. Downloaded that too. Now...I cannot figure out [after reading the forums] (1) how to execute the downloaded Apple Zen template so it shows up as a choice in my Admin? (2) then where to find the "includes/....." directory to follow the instructions to make changes like adding my own logo & colors. I really want to use Zen Cart because it has many features that my current cart doesn't but I fear that it may be too advanced for me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Most templates, including Apple Zen, provide an includes folder which contains all the necessary folders and files in their proper places. All you have to do is open your FTP program (if you don't have one, Filezilla is good (and free)) and drag the template's includes folder to the root (top) of your Zencart file structure.

Editing files is done the same way - FTP from your site to your local computer, edit, then FTP back.

This will all seem very confusing at first (for all of us) but after a little practice, you'll do fine. Remember to read through the Tutorials/FAQ and search the forum about any problems you run into.
