What is New Product Box as 5 products and not random with a month range

I am not a programmer, so my coding skill is not good.

I am using 1.3.7 of Zen Cart. The build-in What is News Product sidebox is good.

But I want it change to like that

Product 1 (14th August 2009)
Product 2 (10th August 2009)
Product 3 (06th August 2009)
Product 4 (01st August 2009)
Product 5 (01st August 2009) ...

*** Above Date is just what the latest product I am added)
That is not random, and much base on the month limit range ....

How to change the original coding like that?

It is actually like 1.3.8 coding .. but haven't the random ...

I have had try copy 1.3.8's what is new sidebox code to replace the 1.3.7 version, but not work.
