Do you see what i see?

I can't see any products displayed in categories that have more than 1 item.

I thot it was something wrong during install so i did a re-installation and wiped out 2 days of work. now i notice even for default demo page,any categories that have more than 1 item shows up blank. all i see is a filter, but nothing comes out of it even after i select from the drop down menu...help ! :(

Get the debug utility from the free software addons tab above and see what file is giviing you the problem.

Not only does your site not show multiple products on the category page - the left sideboxes disappear and the footer doesn't load.

something i did wrongly/didnt do? btw i used the standard manual installation of 1.3.8a

catalog\includes\modules\product_listing.php has 147 lines of code...

In this case it may be a problem with the file encoding. Maybe there is sth wrong when you copied the file. Try to save it in the Linux/Windows File format depending on your server or change the encoding to Unicode and save the file again. Or try to copy the file with another FTP program. Its a weird thing but i had a file encoding problem before and a file had some parse error because the line ending wasnt detected correct.

thanks.. i wonder now if there could be other files that are corrutped during my upload..
