A question about the product layout

Hi there and well im new to the forum heh so hello to all,

well i have a question and i have tried and tried probably not enough because i cant figure it out but to save time i thought lets ask on the forum, so hereby the question.

What i want to do is the next thing, i want my products to show up like this example http://www.templates.com/preview/zen-cart-templates/zt-241.html

so with the photo or product image in a block with an ad button, i have a good template, but the damn thing does not show the products in their blocks, what am i doing wrong ive no idea at this point.

anyone has an idea

A link to your website will help - did you purchase THAT template or are you using something else?

no its not about this i dont have that template, i have another type but i think the approach is the same i think its something with the CSS just cant find it really.

my products are now well not how i want them i want them in some nice boxes mm isnt it something to do with banner boxes perhaps.

the thing is that i want my products to show up different not like they show up now, i want them to show up with a nice dividing line and also the buttons under the image with ad to cart and so on

You want the Column Grid mod from Free Addons to get your product listing display in a grid like your first example. Column Divider Pro (also from Free Addons) will give dotted lines separating the products.

A word of caution: the Template Monster template you have may not work correctly with these mods, as TM often changes coding in non-standard ways and makes it hard to use some built-in controls and properly constructed mods.

ahm its no TM template its my own design but thx for the warning though.

I see from view source that it is not TM, but you have followed much the same path as their old templates in making almost everything table-based layout. You have no classes/ids at all making all of your styling depend on editing multiple PHP files.

The comment is still relevant, as your edits may be incompatible with clean installation of some mods.
