How to make the outside boxes wider so sideboxes can fit?

I downloaded the bookshelf template from a website but the outside columns are to thin to fit the sideboxes. here take a look. https://www.tulsaturners.hanoch.net
Can you tell me how to make them wider?

Looking at your site, I'm not sure what the problem is, but you can change the width of the sidebox wrappers and the sideboxes in Admin - Configuration - Layout Settings

if you look at the right column, you will see that the search box is larger than the maroon column.
