Download product help please easy q's!

Hello! I'm simply selling one downloadable manual and had a few quick questions.

1. If I want them to only be allowed to download the product one time after they purchase it. how do i do that? They also can have the product forever, there is no expiration. Basically they get to purchase it, they get the link to download, they do it, but can only do it once.

2. I also need to setup where the money goes but I dont know how. If someone could explain to me in easy terms how to do this that would be great. My client has a separate business account through her credit union so I just need to know how to connect that account as the account that the money goes into. I only want to accept credit and debit cards.

3. Also, how do I get rid of the newsletter part of the login? we do not have a newsletter! Thank you!

Considering you need to ask, I'd be recommending a PayPal account as being the easiest thing to setup and use for this. rather than trying to integrate directly with the bank account.

The place to start would be with the Credit Union that your client is banking with because it is their system that you'll need to interface with.

This is why I suggested PayPal, 'cos it is easy to set up an account, and zencart already has the necessary modules/code for the interface.

Thank you. I think you are right... i think i'm going to go through PayPal. Would you suggest Paypal express checkout? or IPN or the other option? Basically i'd like some of her buyers to be able to check out without creating a PayPal account.

Express is more reliable and instant than IPN/Standard.
