custom content on top level category page

Hi:

My client would like to show custom content per category when you click on the top level category instead of the subcategory images and links. So, for example, the top category furniture would have a custom page. The only place to see the subcategories would be the list that opens up in the category box when you click on the word Furniture.

Where can I find the code to modify?

Thanks in advance!

For example:

This is what it looks like now:
http://67.225.140.34/store/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=1_7

This is what she wants it to look like:

Re: custom content on top level category page

The custom code goes in the Category html box. I am not 100% sure, but I think in Layout Options you can set subcategories to show or not to show.
