Show free shipping on home page

Hello. I am trying to find a way to indicate free shipping on selected products on the home page. It shows on featured product page, product detail page, etc. But not on the index page.

Is there any way to show free shipping on the home page? I need this to promote some products. Thanks!

Hi Linda. Take a look at our home page:

You might need to refresh a couple of times to see the Zojirushi products that we offer free shipping (in Featured Products section.) I can't find a way to show Free Shipping on home page to attract attention.

Free Shipping does show on the Featured Products page and Product Description page:

Hi

The home page can be configured to include text and images, so why not make your free shipping image show on your home page by including it define_main_page.php. The featured items will show below what ever you put on the main page.

Look in Admin>Tools>Define Main Pages and drop down to define_main_page.php and slot it in there.

Make sure that in Admin>Configuration>Define Page Status> Define Main Page Status is set to 1.

For the featured_products module you could use:

$show_free_shipping = (zen_get_product_is_always_free_shipping($featured_products->fields['products_id']) ? TEXT_PRODUCT_FREE_SHIPPING_ICON : '');

Then add the $show_free_shipping where you want to see the image ...
