site disappered and replaced with warning message

Hi all,

i have been trying to install Easy populate csv and followed the install instructions.
The contents of the includes folder is now within the admin includes folder and the temp fold is in the sub domain root.

I have now lost my site and it is showing an error message.

As I recall, EP module does not overwrite any files BUT there is a sql patch for it.
Have you added the sql to you DB?

If so, try using your FTP client and checking date for added files - disable them or delete them - maybe one at a time and checking if error persists...
Can disable by renaming a xxxx.php file to xxxx.off

No I hadnt done that yet. How do I do that now that i cant get access should I disable to files and then Install the SqL file??

Try using host provided phpmyadmin for the sql

I remember i had the exact same problem when i downloaded that version of Easy Populate.

As kobra rightly pointed out you have to do through your hosting provider. Usually using phpMyAdmin or similar

On EP 1.2.5.4 it is not generally necessary to manually run the sql patch, as it will be run when you "install" the module in the zc admin console.

So you see EP appearing in your admin/tools menu?

No you see an error message, which doesnt allow you to enter the admin panel properly....This is fixed by running the SQL. And the only way to do this is throught the hosting as you cant get into the admin part

( or i couldnt when i came accross this problem)

Is there anyone here who can help me use Easy Populate. I have been reading through the wiki article done as it states but its not showing on my zen so I dont know what I have done wrong?
