setting up multiple state sales tax

I looked but could not find the answer to my question. We want to charge sales tax based on the tax percent for the ship to state. Can this be done? Thank you.

You need to setup the Zone for each state and then the Tax Rate for each zone ...

I did that and my tax still shows up as $0.00. :(

Check the Details of your Zone Definition to be sure that you have defined it and not just given a name to the Definition ...

Look in the Locations / Taxes ... Tax Rates ... and make sure that there is a Tax Rate defined for each Zone that gets taxed ...
