Re: 'Your Shopping Cart is Empty'

This error is extremely unlikely to occur on a standard install of zencart, so I assume you are using a custom template, or have incorrectly modified some files, or have a database problem.

If you are using a custom template, does the error repeat itself when you switch back to the CLASSIC template?

Re: 'Your Shopping Cart is Empty'

before I try switching back, Will I be able to switch back again without customising anythign else.

Also I have done some replacing of template images on the current template im using - to get it right. I also recently moved my zencart folder into the root directory and did update the configure files as described....

Re: 'Your Shopping Cart is Empty'

You can switch among templates without problem, but you'll have to reset your sideboxes unless you install this little mod:

http://www.zen-cart.com/index.php?main_page=product_contrib_info&products_id=260

Also try this:

http://www.zen-cart.com/index.php?main_page=product_contrib_info&cPath=40_54&products_id=82

Re: 'Your Shopping Cart is Empty'

As mentioned, this does not happen on a standard install, so the issue resides with the alterations you've made.

One solution may be this:-

You say you moved it to the ROOT folder?

Upload a COMPLETE FRESH copy of zencart to the root folder (all folders but NOT zc_install).

If you have followed the over-rides principle correctly, then your custom template will be safe.

Your configure.php files will also be "safe", because the core program initially calls these "dist_configure.php" and will not overwrite "configure.php" as a result.
