XAMPP and ZenCart

I just installed ZenCart on a fresh XAMPP install and I'm getting a white page. I viewed the source of the page and there is no html at all. Can anyone help? I'm trying to setup a local copy of the store I'm managing at GoDaddy. I tried copying the files from godaddy and importing the MySQL database then reconfiguring the configure.php files but i still got white screen.

You'll have to use a slightly older version of XAMPP which does NOT use PHP 5.3

Zen Cart v1.3.8a and older is NOT compatible with PHP 5.3 or newer.

Simply using an older version of XAMPP that has PHP 5.2.x will solve your present problem.

Ok. I just installed Xampp 1.7.1 with php5.2 and zencarts working. But when i transfered the cart from GoDaddy it stoped working. I imported the database and it was working properly before i copied the cart.

I found out what was wrong. I had copied over configure.php. I ran zc_install and the reimported teh db and its wrking perfectly. Thanks for your help.
