A Pink Boutique Support Thread

picaflor-azul:

Hello :-)

There are no "missing files" in the template package. I would recommend searching the zen cart forum for the error. Switch back to the classic template and see if the error is still there.

It was a problem with the security certificate. My host worked it out for me. Thanks for the reply.

Re: A Pink Boutique Support Thread

Any chance you have read my post which was on the last page regarding the PMS colours?

Re: A Pink Boutique Support Thread

Sorry for troubling you, I figured out how to do this 10 minutes after I wrote this post :D

I have another question, if you don't mind
Is there anyway to get the efect of these lovely frames around featured pictures
[/IMG]

Uploaded with ImageShack.us
Except the method where I need to open photoshop, use the brown frame as I background, then paste a picture in front of it, and save.

Re: A Pink Boutique Support Thread

Thanks.
Another one. Where I can find the parameter that sets the widght and height for pictures in left column, featured, and new. Because currently they are 100x75, which is way to small.
It look like this, here's my webpage

Re: A Pink Boutique Support Thread

Hi, a newbie here, and to Zen cart in general... learning as I go from the great advice on these boards!

I love the template, and am slowly getting it to look the way I wan't it...

My question is... how do I get the home/login links in the header, from the right to the left??

Thanks in advance!!

Re: A Pink Boutique Support Thread

Hey picaflor-azul I really like the layout of this template and have done a lot of editing to it so far, when I'm done I'll email it to you so you can tweet it! Thanks ahead of time for that.

Ok.. So I've made most of the changes I need to but the problem I'm having is that the buttons are still the default skin colors, is there a way to change the button colors or do i need to remake the buttons? I found a site that can make buttons http://zen-bck.mediakitchen.de/ . Hopping there is an easy fix for this! Here is my URL: https://www.shopnarf.com

I really like the middle centered image option, thats what sold me on the template. :D

Re: A Pink Boutique Support Thread

Hello all  I am so happy that you like the template.

xnarfx--Yes, you will have to either redo all of the buttons in your colors, or you can switch to using the css buttons and change the colors, etc. in the stylesheet.

KPC3--Please send me a link to your site so that I can take a look at what you need.

Re: A Pink Boutique Support Thread

chartkor--the site looks great  Actually you are using the Upscale Boutique template and not the PInk Boutique template. One thing, I have fast dsl and your site is taking quite a long time to load. I believe that this is due to the fact that your product images have not been optimized. I would strongly recommend following this tutorial to make different image sizes for each product:

Good luck on your business!

Re: A Pink Boutique Support Thread

Hello Anne,

Just wondering is there a way to set the small images to be the same size even if the images vary in actual dimensions?

My site has different images some wide some high and they look crap on the front page as they show in different sizes.

Is there a way to show a Specific/Set small background size and all small images will show within that so they look the same size?

Thanking you in advance.

Best Regards,

Re: A Pink Boutique Support Thread

rlexyd--Please post a link to your site.

I also just wanted to politely point out (since I see that you have posted this question to 2 other threads) that cross posting is a no-no on the zen cart forum:

"Cross Post. Cross Posting is posting the same message in multiple threads or posting links to threads on other boards. It's seen as spam."

Re: A Pink Boutique Support Thread

Hi Anne, thank you for your reply.

I did first post an enquiry in General Questions, than I thought this might be an Image Handler Mod issue so I posted a similar question regarding Image Handler setting in the IH2 Forum, and than I thought it might be a template/stylesheet issue so I posted another similar question in the Template Forum here! Each question posted was related to that specific mod/temp, although the problem is the same it might be caused by several things. Since some members are overwhelmed with questions in the forum, they only view specific forums/threads that they can assist with, but thank you for noticing though.

I'm sure there is an easy solution though, just have to figure it out.

There might be a way to force the stylesheet/template to size the small images but I can't figure out how?

I rather not post a link to the site yet, it's exactly the same as your demo site template with different product photos!

Re: A Pink Boutique Support Thread

xnarfx--you can do this via the zen cart admin in configuration--layout settings--css buttons

rlexyd--try in the zen cart admin--configuration--images--Image - Use Proportional Images on Products and Categories

Re: A Pink Boutique Support Thread

Hello,

Thank you for all the quick responses!

My website https://www.shopnarf.com is almost up to my liking on the color scheme ha I just have a couple things left to fix.

 1. How do I change the pink fonted tagline in the header.
 2. How do I change the hover color of the different categories and other side menu options.

Thanks:clap:
