ozpost - cost on excess

Hi Rod,

I was just wondering where the $25 value comes from when the product exceeds the girth, length or weight that Australia Post allows? Is is defined on the ozpost.vcsweb.com server?

What I'm trying to achieve (for the time being) is that if the product is too big for Australia Post, to have a message saying something like "We will contact you to confirm the shipping costs", so I know I need to edit the ozpost.php script to change this message and that's easy enough, I just want the shipping to be $0 instead of $27.50 ($25 + GST) as this is not enough for very large items such as electric massage tables.

Thanks

Steve

Setting the cost to $0 will cause the module to disable itself if the weights or dimensions exceed the limits,

My apologies Rod, I must be blind. I looked for it in admin and didn't see it, even though I remember it being there, so I thought it was a feature of AustPost that I no longer use. I think I must have kept reading it as the 'Default Parcel Dimensions' and overlooking it.

I think I'll use the 'Zone Rates' module or 'MultiGeoZone MultiTable' as an option for TNT to charge different amounts for different states depending on the weight of the order.
