adding vehicle model years to site

I want to add the different model years available on my site in a check box to where a customer can search by years as well. I also want to change the word "MODEL" to "PART #". & add "MODEL YEARS" to all pages as an extra column.

whiteracing,
It looks like you were able to implement this.

How did you go about it?

And how did you get that advanced search page?

Thanks,
