Canada Template Issue

Hello Fellow Zeniers,

Downloaded the "Canada" Template and attempted unzip ready for installation. The Zip program notified of a security error, stating that the files were unable to be encrpypted in the unzip process.

Obviously deleted the files, but interested to know if this is the right place to get a correction happening.

regards,

HaventGotaClue

Re: Canada Template Issue

Hi and Welcome to the Forum.

Although you don't state where you downloaded the Template from, it is not uncommon to sometimes have to download the Zip file a second or even third time, before it will unzip correctly. This happened to me for example with the new version of WordPress, from the WordPress site. All went well when I download it a second time.

Re: Canada Template Issue

If you mean the O Canada template, it extracts fine for me using Winrar.

Re: Canada Template Issue

Apologies, yes it is the o_canada template from ZenCart Downloads section.

Using windows "extract all". All other templates have been extracted perfectly, this is the only one with problems for some reason.

Downloaded 3 times now as per suggestion, same error each time. Suggests is could be the files themselves, something that winrar doesn't detect perhaps? Used to use winrar. :frusty:

any other suggestions?

Re: Canada Template Issue

Yes. Install WinRAR. It seems that there's something about that zip file that the Windows extract function doesn't like.
