Shipping Per Item

Hi, I added the UPS shipping in zencart, but because each item weighs different, I am thinking of just making a flat shipping charge per each item instead, mainly because I don't understand how shipping works in zencart.

Can anyone guide me to where I can find instructions to setup shipping per individual item in the store?

Or, if there is an easier way, let me know that too. Thanks.

I just realized that if I put the weight for EACH item in the store, that the regular UPS shipping would calculate the correct shipping depending on where the customer lives... is that right?

That is correct ... UPS and USPS are real time quotes based on the weight of the order ...
