USPS Shipping Only

Hi,

We are shipping only through USPS, offering free shipping on orders over $100. Is it safe to remove all other modules under admin > modules > shipping so that only USPS and free options are installed?

The reason I ask is because the shipping rates in Zen Cart aren't reflecting the current USPS rates from the post office.

There's no problem removing the shipping options you don't use.

We'll need a little more info about the rates problem, like:

Zencart version?
Are the rates too large or too small?
Any shipping-related mods installed?

Hi I am currently working on a site with ZenCart 1.3.8a. I ended up removing all the shipping modules except for the following three: ot_shipping in admin > modules > order totals, shippingoptions in admin > modules > shipping, and usps in admin > modules > shipping.

The problem was the rate was to low, not reflecting the latest rate increases from USPS. I think the table shipping mod was affecting the calculations which is why I wanted to know if there was a problem with removing unused shipping modules.
