Allow to download a file only with a code

Hi,

I am looking for an application to allow the users to download a file, but just for the users that have a special code.

I was thinking on using a Zencart, with one downloadable product, and enable cupon codes for allowing the download, but:

How can I prevent the users "buying" this product without the code?
how much codes or cupons can I use on Zencart?
is there any way to bulk upload the codes?

Thanks
