Zone Shipping adds 3 Kilos to 1 kilo order?

Hi!

I'm trying out the module Shipping Zones and after following the directives in http://bestwebdesignz.com/tips/zen-cart-tutorials/adding-shipping-modules-in-zen-cart/ I'm still att a loss.

Problem: Testing a 1 kilo article, priced Euro 1 including SE-VAT 25%, using a Euro 23.44 handling fee, I get a 4 kilo shipping cost -- Euro 31.13, resulting in a Handling and Shipping cost of Euro (23.44 + 31.13)*1,25 = 68.21.

Tare is set as 0:3, limit at 50 kilos

Zone 1 Countries SE
Zone 1 Shipping Table 1:25.52,2:27.39,3:29.26,4:31.13,5:33.00, ...

Question: What ZenCart-setting decides that a 1 kilo article becomes 4 kilos?

Moreover the price of the article is thereafter added as Euro 1, not included in the calculation of the SE-VAT

Cheers!

Hi!

Yep, that's logical.

It figures where default Tare 0:3 as in (percentage of weight:added kg or lbs.) Assumed tare hekto's (hg) in default setting.

Lesson to be learned: Read the provided instructions.

Cudos!
