New Products fine-tuning help (layout)

Hi all Zenners,

I have a slight problem with my new products on the homepage .

e.g http://fishingtackleoxford.co.uk/

If you scroll to the bottom of the page where the products are listed you will see that they are all off line and look a mess.

Is there anyway to straighten them up so they all look equal.

I have noticed this is happening when i have 1 product that has 4 words as the main title and another that has say 9 words as the title.

Please help.

Many Thanks and kind regards

Re: New Products fine-tuning help (layout)

Title: ALERT: PayPal Direct Payment Error (10565 <!-- -->)
Content: 10565 Merchant country unsupported. - The merchant country is not supported.

This is an urgent matter. Above is the junk mail we received for many times in several e-mail of our companies, and that's all for the mail. We don't know either which site of our company it came from or which person. And we received e-mails from somebody complaining they had tried so many times to buy things from our sites but failed that they had to give up and buy from others.

Wonder what the matter is and what should we do. If anybody can help, we'll appreciate it very much.

Re: New Products fine-tuning help (layout)

Hi There,

I think you might struggle with that fixing that.

You could make sure that ALL HEADING text for products goes on 2 lines.

Example - This product heading shows on two lines:

Nash Zip Sack Safety
System

This shows on 1 line:

Cyba Lite Trek Headlight

change to:

Cyba Lite Trek
Headlight

and use center tag for text.

You could also try (If possible) setting width and height value to the description area in yuor stylesheet_tm.css file.

And you can edit the length of text for product description for ALL products here:

zen cart admin > Configuration > Product Listing > Display Product Description

change the value of this for example to 12 and you will see how it works.

Hi there Muzz :-

zen cart admin > Configuration > Product Listing > Display Product Description

This does not affect the problem i have , that makes the product description e.g http://fishingtackleoxford.co.uk/carp-bed-chairs/tfgear-bed-chairs

the top 3 .

In all honesty, it's not that noticible. Had you not pointed it out I would not have noticed it. Being a type A personality myself it's really not that big a deal. Just my humble opinion.

Re: New Products fine-tuning help (layout)

I can see you have gone horizontal with the product info. I guess that solves it.
