Support for Google Checkout and Amazon Payments?

I am debating between Magento and Zen-Cart. Zen-Cart seems to be faster but its support for Google Checkout and Amazon Payments leaves much to be desired. Therefore, unless I know about reasonable support for these two forms of payments I will have no choice but go with Magento.

Do you know whether "official" support for Google Checkout and Amazon Payments is in the horizon?

By "official" I mean that they are supported in the same way the Zen-Cart team supports PayPal.

Also, ideally Zen-Cart will be listed on the Google Checkout website just like Magento is listed there.

Thanks.

Re: Support for Google Checkout and Amazon Payments?

Can I take the lack of answer here as an admission that there are no plans by the Zen-Cart team to support either Google Checkout or Amazon Payments?

Re: Support for Google Checkout and Amazon Payments?

I can't speak for the developers, but I would assume that they have no immediate plans to do so, considering they are currently engaged in finishing a major new Zencart version.

The ideal situation, it seems to me, would be for someone whose programming skills are a lot better than mine to modify the current GC and Amazon Payment modules so that they are stable and installable. There are lots of mods, payment and otherwise, which work just fine, but aren't officially 'supported' by the Zencart team in the way you use the term.
